I found Phil through the web and went to see the yard as he said he had some boats to sell , a lovely guy , you know bend over backwards to get you sorted , me and my dad wanted something along the lines of the old boat a Sea Hog Shortie , Phil had one for sale for a customer so after some good old haglin we bought the Falkland Fisher 500 series 2014 model with a warranty. We are moored up in Aberaeron and we took her out sunday , what a joy to drive sits up in the water very dry , big enough to ski the works, very happy with all the effort Phil and the team put in , Phil is now working on another 2 boats of mine i can not recomend him and his whole team enough thank you , give him a visit. I just wanted to say how helpful and professional you and your team were when I first purchased my Sea Search 3.9 Inflatable Rib. The installation of the extra kit such as jockey Seat, Steering Lickage, aluminium floor etc was first class and has certainley made the Sea Search a high performing rib.
We have had hours of fun on the coast of Pembroke and I would recommend that if you are thinking of getting a Rib contact Phil and you wont go wrong.

We had a wayfarer dinghy in need of new hatches and grp row lock blocks fitted as well as our outboard serviced.
Phil immediately gained our confidence it was obvious he new exactly what needed to be done and was able to advise us. Our boat work was completed to a a superb standard and as importantly to us on time. The engine work was the same it is very refreshing to deal with GGF they will be our first port of call for our future work! Thanks for a great service .

It makes a change to find a company that is so keen to help people out. Within 24 hours of contacting GGF my Hobie pro angler 12 was fitted with a Raymarine fish finder.
The service I received was friendly and informative and the staff very helpful. They bent over backwards to make sure that my Kayak was ready for the weekend so that I can enjoy the open sea.
Although the company mainly works on engine powered boats they were quite able to turn their hands to my Kayak.
I cannot recommend this company enough. It's a great family run firm and very professional in what they do.

Phil has been amazing to work with. Hands down amazing service. He's fixed all Cardiff University Sailing Club's fireflies to an incredible standard. They were complete wrecks and basically unsailable until Phil got his hands on them. A million percent would recommend anytime.

We had serious damage to the fibreglass bow of our Warrior 165. It was generally considered to be beyond economic repair by the experts we approached, but then we heard about Phil at GGF.
The service we received from him was unbelievable. Not only did he repair the boat, he collected it in a sorry mess, and then delivered it back fully repaired and stronger than it went, looking great and far sooner than we could ever have hoped.
The extent of the damage our boat had incurred had attracted a lot of local boat owners’ attention and those that had seen it before repair couldn’t see where the repair had been done. People who hadn’t seen the damage found it hard to believe it had been damaged and repaired at all.
We really don’t know what more anyone could hope for or expect.

I contacted Phil recently regarding the repair of a jet ski I had recently purchased that had a nasty gouge in the hull and other smaller scrapes and indentations. He was extremely helpful and provided me with what turned out to be a very accurate estimate for the repairs based on a photograph he had been provided with. When I collected the jet ski, I was extremely happy with the work that had been carried out and the fair price charged - the finish was superb and I would defy anyone to find the original damage. I am a professional engineer myself and always very fussy about the work and finish that I contract for, so pleasing me is no easy task (as my wife will no doubt testify!?!)
I would have no hesitation in recommending GGF to all my friends and colleagues that need any similar work to be carried out.

I recently bought a new Falkland Fisher Premier boat from Phil and it is absolutely fantastic. I saw the boat at the London Boat Show and was equally impressed with Phil's eagerness to help and in particular make it easy for me to get the boat down to my mooring in Lyme Regis harbour at the right time for me. After 2 years of neglect we found our river cruiser with water in the cabin and a lot of water damage. Phil collected the boat from the other side of the country to where he is situated, dried it out, re-fitted the inside, cleaned the outside up, serviced the engine and added a new control panel all in a few months and with no fuss at all. He delivered the boat back to us in fantastic condition, and his prices were very reasonable. I would certainly recommend Phil to anyone with a boat repair problem.

I had a mint condition Maxum hull, a trailering accident ended up with bunk support bracket putting a few deep gashes along the running surface - in places right through the Gelcoat.
It was fully insured but I was concerned about how well the repair could be done.
I came across GGF by a simple Google search .. and as it happened they were also the approved repairers by my insurers.
Phil took the boat in, and I will admit to being concerned when the boat was lifted up on straps & rotated on it's side ... I left at that point :-)
The work was carried out ... superbly, using the genuine Brunswick Marine gel coat ... you simply cannot tell it has been repaired - it is back in it's mint condition.
I would have no hesitation in recommending GGF for any hull repairs - the craftsmanship is excellent.
